Asura - Afterain EP / SMR003
OUT NOW on Soundmute Recordings - Ambilight Group
Since 1996, the project ASURA has polished a personal electronic universe sound, between trance psychedelic, Ambient and World music. Made by many influences, their music does not remain about it less one personal and considered creation, centered on the perpetual search of infinite spaces and multiple origins. Powered by both electronic machines and acoustic instruments, they have created a very distinctive sound which has contributed to making Asura one of the most recognizable bands of the World Ambient Trance genre. Monotonous melancholic lyrics, symphonic waves, fast and slow rhythms, heavy or throbbing, liturgical songs, ASURA introduces a certain solemn vision of the world. Recognized everywhere, little known in France, their titles "Code Eternity" and "Lost Eden" however had many dance at the time of large Trance raves all over the world. Vincent Villuis left the band to concentrate on his new project, Aes Dana, in 2001, and was replaced by Alex Ackerman.
The second album, Lost Eden, was released in 2003.
Since July 2005, after the departure of Christopher Maze and Alex Ackerman, ASURA became a solo project, composed by C. Farewell, co-founder of the project.
The third and newest album, "Life", was released on July 7, 2007, through Ultimae Records.
"Life" marks its time as the return of the original Asura sound, with 10 strong tracks, composed by melodic echoes, Aramean tribal rhythms, ethereal duduks, hypnotic basslines, symphonic orchestrations, fusion of gentleness and strength blending into acid themes. The outcome is melancholic yet positive, as any renewal would be, a tangible passage, sort of a second life...
Right now, Asura made an agreement with electronic music label Soundmute Recordings, and first ambient EP will be released for this record label at Ambilight Group, sub label of Soundmute Recordings.

Le S4B0T3UR - Lost EP / SMR002 - OUT NOW!!!
Our next release will be tech trance project Le S4B0T3UR on EP named "Lost".
Behind the name Le S4B0T3UR is Joakim Hakansson from Sweden, who earlier produced tracks under the name Dopamin who was released alongside heroes such as X-Dream and Midimiliz on Moonflower Productions. First release as Le S4B0T3UR with the track Sabotage came out on Mechanical Dragon and got great reviews.
Joakim has been producing psytrance since 1997 and was discovered by Nephilim Records who released several tracks of his on various compilations together with vinyl EP, other labels that has released Joakim's work are High Society, Nephilim Records, Chackra Delic Rec., ZMA, ZYX, Moonflower productions, Mechanical Dragons.
The change to the name Le S4B0T3UR came to the realization because there where too many people on the net and in the electronic music whose names were similar to Dopamin. It was also a way to break free from a mould created with the Dopamin releases; Le S4B0TEUR gives room to more experimentation of IDM influences in the creation of his new music.
At the moment, he is signed for electronic music label Soundmute Recordings, and if you like dirty and hard music, then Le S4B0T3UR has real tunes for you!

Manibus - Distorted Roads
The release, which newly formed record label, and already older and well-known music company and artists community "Soundmute", chose for its opening release, is in fact the mentioned Manibus project. The reason for that is that Manibus' style fits entirely into a sound definition of Soundmute Recordings. Harder techno rhythms full of percussions and distortions, as well as the perfect fat pads of oscillating notes, in the form of a bassline and emotional highlight string essence that reaches out to the maximal euphoria on the dance floor. Well chosen BPM and within it carefully summarized program of many styles of the techno sound and SFXs which can be heard in trance tracks, are the perfect combination for all prestige techno-trance DJs worldwide. Apart from eventual description of the release, we enclose the sample previews of all three tracks, so you can be assured about the content of the text that describes the release. Soundmute Japan Tour 2008
Less than 9 months have passed since the first tour of Kanc Cover and the Goasia project in Japan. This year the Japanese audience will again have the opportunity to hear this producer, in 3 different live acts and 2 DJ sets. All this is about the newly-formed tech trance project of this producer, Orbital Psy, widely known as OPSY, and it has been booked this year in two well-known Tokyo clubs, Cube326 and Ageha; Goasia and Kanc Cover live act will perform on open air party in JZ Trance organization in the Namesawa (Yamanashi) camp, as well as the ambient DJ set.
In a chronological order, the promotion of Goasia’s new album “From Other Spaces” which has been released for Belgian label Suntrip Records. OPSY project will be promoting the V/A “Supermarket” release of the temporarily closed Ultiva Records label, and the opening of a new label by soundmute.org booking agency, and that is the record label of electronic music “Soundmute Recordings”, which you can also visit on the official MySpace presentation. On the same party will be presented the EP “Distorted Roads”of Manibus project, as the first release of Soundmute Recordings. In the end of the entire story, with his downtempo-ambient live act and DJ set, Kanc will close the tour in Japan and representation of soundmute.org community altogether.

LIQUID FLOW - Goa Terminal (EP)
It’s been a successful year for many artists, and so it is for another SoundMute musician aka Liquid Flow.
After phenomenal Live Acts and DJ sets on parties and festivals like “FUTURE NATURE FESTIVAL” in Istir or “BORN TO BE MAD FESTIVAL” in Belgium, and after the release of two compilations, where one was for Portugal label Metapsychic Records, Tomislav Savic aka Liquid Flow joins Indian family under the name Shivlink Records and releases for them his first “EP” that contains three tracks in Goa Trance style. Considering the style that “EP” presents, therefore the name “Goa Terminal”, and singles that are part of it are 1. Artificial Paradise, 2. Phase Shift and 3. X-Amount. Under the same label, an album of project Liquid Flow is expected sometime in the spring.
