Psychomental started DJing during the year 1996, playing and promoting (Goa) Psychedelic Trance music at underground parties and radio shows. One year later, he already started producing atmospheric soulfull sounds with certain hypnotic feel that creates trance-like states in listeners mind. The music it’s self is less about perticular style and more about capturing the mood. At the time his only equipment was Amiga computer and with that he made four demo albums and lots of tracks that were played on partys and various radio shows. During the time he gained a big production experience in making music. Then a friend of his, Goran Mekic (Meka) joined him in more sophisticated studio, sometime in 2000. The next few years, their production advanced and developed. In 2003, another friend of theirs (already known as Psychotic Fields) joins in and they start working on new project. Together with DJ Denny, Psychomental wants to further promote Trance and starts the radio show called "D-Trance" in 2003 on Radio AS FM (also broadcasting live online at www.radioas.fm), one of the biggest urban radio stations in Serbia. The show airs every Monday, from 00am - 5am (GMT +1), presenting everything that Trance culture has to offer. Psychomental also joined Sound Mute community, Buddha Mantra and Macky Mad House record labels.
